What is reality based self defense
Reality-based self-defense focuses on practical applications for real life confrontations, the skill base is set to the individuals envioroment and emphaasized in their training phases. this training has no kata ,no forms, it is free of mind boggeling sets and repeative moves it is free of rules and limits, there are no high head kicks fancey spinning kicks . this does not take years to learn or years of training to be profecent in. It is not a mixed martial art! Those are sports with set limits and rules, Reality training has no rules, this is to save your life! IT HAS NO CONTROLLED ENVIORMENT! It is based on simple easy to remember techniques that can be mastered in houirs not years. The focus is on the few skills that you can remember quickly automatically. That you will most likely use in an confrontation on or in any enviorment. It is a true defense and sensiable evolution in modern conflict. our progam does not have ranking but phase training. There are belts avaiable if you chose to have one, but it is based on skills in that phase level and there are 5 with intermediate levels with in the phases with no fees for phase advancement. This program is not for the meger and not for childern! it does involve firearm training and live fire so we ask that you be eighteen and half before you begin our training.

Those where the days
Boy its hard to believe how long ago it was !when i was in the Marine Corps, i remember being a young boot, training on Greens Beach in Subic Bay Phillipines, working on the 81mm mortar pumping out round
s. At that time i was new to the unit. assigned as ammo man for wpns platton 3/9. I was so motivated to do the best job neccesary to impress as many as i could with my skills as an mortarman, i was ,i think by the time we got to p.i. a young lance coolie( the work horse of the marine corps.) well this one day we were out there just pumping those rounds out, i kept shoveing the increment bags in my cargo pockets, every time i set a fuse and took them off for the correct charge.I had a whole pocket full all the way to the top! So i started filling up the other side , runnin back and forth from ammo pit to the gun, man it was hot that day! It was early December if i remember, 110 that day i do believe ? Well durning that whole time nobody told me that those little bags of powder from the 81mm shell would heat up! They never said a word ,so i pumped ammo for probably 2 hours it seemed in the heat of the phillipine sun, well i started feeling extra hot for some reason the nexted thing i knew i was engulfed in flames up both sides of my cammies !Oh man i though!! What the f....ck How did this happen ?So i ran in a huge circle, i totally forgot about drop and roll thing .The more i ran more the flames got bigger so. i ran faster everyone around me was whaleing with laughter! I started screaming for help! the more i screamed the lounder they go,t i thought i was going to die! Burn right up. which is a fear of mine, that would just be aweful to have happen !But finnally and sgt for s.t.a platoon ran over tackled me and patted me off ! You know i didnt even get burned at all ,just burned the hell out of my cammies i learn that day to never put increment bags in your cammies, you dumb jarhead ! youll burn your ass up ,i had a hard time liveing that one up ,everybody haranged me about it ! you only can imagine now i think back a think about how funny it must of been for them !To witness, i just thought i share a little grunt stuff that was on my mind this evening.

BATTLERATTLE REVIEWS STRAC M4 SPEED LOADING SYSTEM
The m4 f.a.s.t system is made for close quarter battle (CQB), It is the only single point recovery point for speed loading of three magazines in sub second reloads. Made to make reloading seconds faster when the opertator needs ammo in a hurry or in a tight fight the operator doesnt have to take his eyes off the bad guy to reload . A trained operator will be able to sustain a contact for a short period thats nessecary to save his life or that of his squad. With in seconds the operator can reload and engage a second target before the first one hits the ground, This is an totally intragrated amidextrious system works well with any load bearing vest!
Manual reloads training is cut in half with the M4 STRAC f.a.s.t system, it only adds 2 lbs to the operators combat wieght and get in the fight with sub second reloads, will not jam, holds three standard magazines for more info please contact info@stractech.com their phone number is 1-800-394-6010 i feel this will be better than drinking a beer well maybe not but look into this system it worth it until nexted time, stay smart stay safe

PART 2 CHANGED EVERYTHING I KNEW
Well to cut the story short, major thing is SAFETY don't ever take it for granted be sure to always check every cartridge you load for your weapons i guess i got too confident in what i was doing. another thing was, We had a lot of other weapons and ammo there that day. be sure if you have anyone with you that is not familiar with what ammo goes where! keep them away from the ammo !!!! no one but the person shooting should touch and load their magazines. I suspect that a round meant for another rifle was mixed in to my magazine by one of the new shooters. Because one of them kepted handling the ammo, there was my major mistake! i was not accountable for my people at the range that day, I GOT INJURED THAT DAY, DUE TO GETTING TO CONFIDENT IN WHAT I WAS DOING ,TOOK IT FOR GRANTED. THAT IS ONE MAJOR LESSON! That i shall never repeat. i cant not stress enough about safety with firearms and from time to time i will stress safety very much in my blogs because its very vital and cant be assumed everyone thinks the same double check your ammo and make sure everyone gets a safety orientation before going to the range and another one as soon as your set up to do you shooting. a vital lesson hard learned! until nexted time be careful and return to my blog for many More topics and events that will be valuable to your shooting pleasures and training for defense. keep your powder dry, be safe and enjoy what you do

WHAT A SAFETY RECORD ! THIS DAY CHANGED EVERYTHING I KNEW ABOUT SAFETY
November 15 2004,
I started his day pretty good its was my brothers birthday !And we both enjoy shooting and firearms ,so we had the day off work we decided we would run down to cave run lake by morehead kentucky for a day of busting targets and a day celebrating his birthday! we did the usual went to breakfast , the day before we readied our firearms for a day of shooting, we had two people with us who had never shot an firearm in their life! i am a trained united states marine not current but a former infantryman , i am trained well with most infantry weapons any way i have always prided my self on my safety record at all shooting levels up till this day was perfect! Millions of round ejected and misfires that i have cleared due to bad primes or dinged up ammo and i mean nothing happened either, unless you've shot for close to twenty years with excellent safety, then BANG ! THE RIFLE EXPLODES A 308 CAL SHELL RUPTURES IN THE CHAMBER! WOW WHAT HAPPENED! I am dazed ,looks like im looking through a waterfall ,cant focus, ears ringing, shaking all i cant hear is being like a vacuum all quite then you hear all the sound run back in then you realize you just had a major weapon malfunction! the ammo was PMC bronzeline a really cheap price 308 cartridge ,Yes i was wearing shooting ballistic glasses we could not find them they where totally evaporated in the rifle explosion an m-14 rifle it was my favorite rifle i shot it ceasely there was nothing that i couldn't hit with it love it ! so after realizing i was really hurt couldn't feel it though maybe it was the Adrenalin for the blast, that fight of flight you feel before a fight or event my face was peppered left rib cage had a good size hole right anterior knee peppered with shell fragment's too! it makes you think about everything you did up to that last shot when it finely bites you and wakes you up to the reality that no matter how long you participate in something so dangerous that on day no matter how much safety you try to practice it can still be your time if you do something long enough..... i will continue and try to get to point in my next post gotta leave you with what is going on next ! I want to thank my wife for letting me pursue my writing ,with out her. i couldnt be myself and share what i know
